Clawdemy is built to collect almost nothing about you. No accounts, no email signup, no tracking pixels, no ad networks, just one cookieless, privacy-first visit counter that sets no cookies and identifies no one. The page loads, you read or listen, and nothing that identifies you is captured along the way. The one small functional exception is described below.
No accounts
Section titled “No accounts”There is no signup form, no login, no email field anywhere on the site. Clawdemy does not maintain an account system. Reading is anonymous by design.
No tracking, one cookieless counter
Section titled “No tracking, one cookieless counter”We use one privacy-first, cookieless counter (Cloudflare Web Analytics) to see how many people visit and which pages are visited. We do not run Google Analytics, Plausible, PostHog, Mixpanel, Fathom, or any advertising or behavioral analytics service. We have not embedded ad networks, Facebook pixels, or third-party measurement scripts beyond that counter. We do not set tracking cookies. You can confirm all of this yourself by opening your browser’s developer tools, loading any page on the site, and watching the Network and Cookies panels. You will see the one cookieless counter and nothing else.
CDN traffic for delivery only
Section titled “CDN traffic for delivery only”Clawdemy is served through Cloudflare. Cloudflare logs request metadata, including IP addresses, for the operational purpose of routing traffic and defending against abuse. Retention follows Cloudflare’s standard policy. Our only analytics is Cloudflare’s own privacy-first, cookieless Web Analytics, for aggregate visit counts and nothing more. We do not access Cloudflare’s raw request logs for marketing, audience segmentation, or profiling.
What is stored locally, and why
Section titled “What is stored locally, and why”A few small pieces of state live inside your browser so the site behaves the way you set it on your next visit. None of this is transmitted to us, except where noted:
- Theme preference in
localStorage. - Sidebar state in
sessionStorage, cleared when you close the tab. - Star-feature state in
localStorage, only if you have clicked a lesson’s star button.
If you click a star to mark a lesson useful, a small first-party functional cookie named cw_star_<slug> is set so the same browser does not double-count, and a per-lesson aggregate count increments on the server. The aggregate is “lesson X has been starred N times,” not joined to identity, IP, or session. If you never click a star, no cookies are set at all.

Open content, open source
Section titled “Open content, open source”Clawdemy’s lesson text is licensed under Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International (CC BY-NC-SA 4.0). Audio narration is All Rights Reserved by RBJ Global LLC. Code samples are licensed under MIT. Anyone may fork, translate, adapt, or redistribute the lesson text for non-commercial purposes, subject to attribution and matching-license terms. Commercial use is licensed separately via [email protected]; details at /legal/licensing.
The site source code is public at github.com/clawless-io/clawdemy. Every claim on this page can be verified by reading the repository.
What we commit to never doing
Section titled “What we commit to never doing”- No email lists, newsletters, or “subscribe to updates” forms.
- No waitlists.
- No follow-on-X promotions, social re-targeting, or social-network analytics.
- No read-progress tracking: we do not record how far through a lesson you read or scroll, and we build no per-person reading history.
- No selling, sharing, or licensing of visitor data. The only visitor data we keep is anonymous, aggregate visit counts, not tied to any person and not for sale.
If our practices ever change, we will update this page and the Privacy Policy first, before any change ships.
